Mohamed is a talented tabla player. He frequently performs as an accompanist to both vocalists and instrumentalists (including santoor, sitar & clarinet players among others). His tabla playing includes accompaniment of Indian classical & semi-classical styles of ghazals and thumris as well as performing as part of fusion groups.
