“Mohamed led a pilot multi-cultural project for us in a tough Carlisle comprehensive school and proved to be a great ambassador for the Company. He was well liked and respected by both students and staff, who were inspired by his technical expertise and love of music from all over the world. He also proved to be a real team player.”

Andy Booth, Director, Quondam Arts

Multi-talented, competent, reliable, knowledgeable and highly experienced are only some of the words that come to mind when I think about Mohamed Assani. Mohamed’s professional and flexible approach makes it very easy to work with him. His ability to be very creative within any given brief ensures that he always fulfills the requirements of the organisation and makes him a very valuable resource. Mohamed is regularly re- booked by the organisation, which is further testimony to the quality of artistic experience he is able to offer to all who engage him.”

“I feel that what we have achieved in a short space of time is amazing. We are all new to this way of performing and have all gained a lot from it. Our teacher, Mohamed Assani, has been a great inspiration and introduced me to a whole world of music I may never have explored.”

Jeff Dale, Music Student

University of Huddersfield

“Two years ago Mohamed Assani started running a series of workshops for us in South Asian music with fantastic results. Mohamed has managed to cater for people with no experience as well as those who have been playing for a long time, from all sorts of backgrounds. I was amazed at the first concert we held at how far students had developed in a relatively short period of time. I never have to worry about the work he does as I know it is always going to be excellent. His knowledge of the music, of playing styles on various instruments, of how to approach performances and rehearsals is very strong and if you get the chance to work with him I recommend you grab it with both hands!”
